Why attack Moé?
Equal share of blame falls on
Larry and Curly.

  1. The real question is
If Shemp had his own harem
    Would Moé ruin it?

  2. Can’t attack lame pun
    It is about Moé, so
    it is what it is

  3. Oh K-On! that note,
Lame pun? Not sure I like your
    Platitude, mister.

  4. Ah moé and Moe.
Took me a while to get it.
    Haha what a pun.

    • Took me much longer
To find out it wasn’t Moe:
      I’m the real stooge here.

Coming late to the “talking about anime” side of things I read moé like it really was Moe for the longest time. For the life of me I couldn’t figure out why they’d pick that name for that feeling/trope when it carries so many non-moé connotations. Of course, that was totally a function of my age and the fact that English is my primary language (not to mention that it’s hardly ever written with an accent). I honestly didn’t figure it out until I was listening to the English dub for Haruhi….

      /embarrassing admission

      • You’re not alone. I know some people in real life who still insist it is “Moe”. That little squiggly makes a big difference. XD
